7:30 – 8:00Arrival & Morning Activity Each student will make a lunch choice, empty backpack, go to breakfast (if needed), and participate in the designated morning activity (WEGL Newscast, Attendance, Lunch Count).
8:00 – 10:00LITERACY BLOCK Reader’s Workshop Students will be involved in mini lessons, shared reading, needs-based grouping, independent reading, reading conferences, and sharing time. Writer’s Workshop Students will be involved in mini lessons, shared writing, independent writing, writing conferences, and sharing their writing.
10:00-10:30 Content (Social Studies, Science, Health) Students will develop an awareness of the world in which we live. Concepts will be explored through inquiry, literature, and hands-on activities. Content will be integrated throughout the curriculum.
10:30-11:20Related Arts Students will participate in Art, Music, and Physical Education on a rotating basis (A.M.P.) . Students will participate in Fitness Friday, every Friday.

11:58-12:18 Social Interaction Students will have the opportunity to practice appropriate socialization skills, taking turns, conflict resolution, and fair play whether outside or inside.
12:18-1:20 Math Workshop Students will learn specific math skills, concepts, and strategies, using hands-on manipulatives to reinforce learning.
1:20-1:40Class Meeting Students will meet as a group to give compliments, share concerns, participate in team building activities, etc. to daily strengthen our “Classroom Community.”
1:40 – 2:20Intervention Students will work in small groups for additional reinforcement based on need(s).
2:20 – 2:25Reflections/Prepare for Dismissal Order of dismissal: Car (2:22), Eagle’s Nest (2:25), Bus Riders (2:25)
